DeleteI absolutely love the home as I do many of your other creations. Yet I seem to have a problem with accessing the fridge? I can walk straight up to it but for some reason, I don't seem to be able to open it and commence cooking. I did place the lot with "bb.moveobjects on" I tried switching it out but alas :(

DeleteI have replaced the fridge, so the Sims can now use the fridge correctly.

DeleteHi Ruby! I downloaded this lot as well as dreamy penthouse this morning then placed their tray files into my tray folder and distributed the rest of the package files into my mods folder. When I started my game up after that, it didn't make it through the initial loading screen before quitting unexpectedly. I tried a few more times and the same thing happened.
ReplyDeleteI tried repairing my game through origin and the game continued to start up then quit. I then updated my macbook in case that was the issue and when I booted ts4 after updating, it continued quitting too soon. I can't even make it to the main menu before it quits. I have several other lots from you including the cc that comes with them in my game and those have given me no problems. A lot of the CC you use in your builds is stuff I already have so I replace those files I had with the ones in your folders since they're the same. This only started happening after I downloaded dreamy penthouse and the man cave.
I was using my game with no problems yesterday so I know the issue with something I downloaded today and that's only your two builds. I have a feeling whatever is causing this problem came with the man cave but I really don't know which. I want to go through my mods folder and delete all the CC that came with it but soooooo many of those files were CC I already had and that might affect the builds I've already completed in my game. I have no idea how to proceed from here :(
I’m so sorry, that’s happening to you! I am not sure which CC caused the problem either. I am truly sorry about it. I have no problem with them in my game. I know some other simmers have installed these two lots in their games as well. They took some screenshots of them. Maybe one of the CC is conflicted with other CC you already have.
DeleteTo find out which CC caused the problem you’d have to do the 50/50 method to see which piece is causing the crashing.

When I was encountering this issue earlier this week I did consider doing the 50/50 method but was honestly balking at it bc of the sheer number of files I have in my mods folder. However when you suggested it to me it it made me feel much better bc as a builder I'm sure you have TONS of CC in your mods folder and if the 50/50 method has helped you find problematic CC than I'm sure it will help me. Is your mods folder particularly large? Mine is almost 13,000 files strong.

At first glance, it was the biggest file out of the rest of the items in the mini collection so I wonder if that had something to do with my games inability to open with it in the folder? Has that piece given your game any issues? Maybe it has something to do with the processing power of my laptop, I'm playing on a late 2015 macbook air.
Hello, I am glad you write back to me and let me know that you did find the problem CC. I have around 10000 files in my mod folder. I still have the Praseodymium sofa by wondymoon in my mod folder now. Because I was able to open my game without any issue. But I think I will delete it, if this piece might cause a game crash. I am playing on a desktop computer, I just got it last year. Anyway, I am glad we have solved the problem. Thank you so much for letting me know the problem and downloading my houses. :)
DeleteI really love how this lot is crafted. Whenever I install it, the game stays on paused. I've tried other lots to see if it's a cc problem, but it's always turned out to be this one that keeps the entire game on "pause". Which is sad, 'cause I wish I could use it. : ( It's a really good lot.
